La comunità cristiana guadagna stabilmente il centro dell’Urbe. L’eucologia dei santi Giovanni e Paolo nel Sacramentarium Veronense
Abstract
Among the eight forms of mass that the Sacramentarium Veronense places on 26 June only the fifth mentions Saints John and Paul, to which in sec. VI is entitled the Titulus Pammachii. The others refer generically to martyrs and six of them seem to be attributed to the eucological creativity of Saint Leo the Great. In all this material we can see three important testimonies: the equipping of eucology for liturgical service just drawing on what produced by the editors of prayers; the reflection of the renaming of the Titulus in eucology probably composed for the circumstance; the physiognomy of Veronense, as a transcription of texts taken from the secretarium only of basilicas and churches of martyrs accessible from the collector.
