The introduction of a formulary for the care of creation between ad diver­sa Masses raises some questions about the possible inclusion of a feast of creation in the structure of the liturgical year. The risk that could arise is that of a “moralistic” reduction of the feast, as has happened in the past, or rather the transformation of the feast into a sounding board for an idea or a task, such as the protection of creation. The feast, in reality, is liberation from all tasks in order to access, through symbolism and ritual, an expe­rience of freely given freedom. Creation is, rather, the subject of the cele­bra­tion, which is also convened for remembrance and praise.
