Abstract

Among the particular Missals published in France in the eighteenth century was the Missal of the Benedictine monastic Congregation of Saint-Vanne of 1781. This study investigates the extent to which the orations it chose for Christmastide differed from the Roman Missal of 1570 and were influenced by other Missals published in France at this period.
