Abstract
Based on the analysis of ten years of publication in theology of the liturgy and the sacraments in the review La Maison‑Dieu, in the collection Lex orandi (new series) of Éditions du Cerf and the new pastoral collection Célébrer and the reflection led by the teaching staff of the Institut Supérieur de Liturgie of the Catholic University of Paris to redesign its academic offer, the author identifies five characteristic notes of a French‑speaking “school” of theology of the liturgy and the sacraments in the age of globalization and liberal postmodernity. In order to train liturgical actors in discernment in a situation of complexity, it is a question of thinking theologically about pastoral questions, of domiciling the sacrament reflection in the site of celebration, of always situating current questions in the depth of the history of their representations, to take seriously the spatial and musical dimension of the liturgical action, to think about liturgical and sacramental questions on their ecumenical horizon.
