This study examines the successive redactions of the liturgical texts by the Roman Rite from the pontificate of Pius V onwards for celebrating the feasts of three bishops non martyrs of antiquity: Saint Juvenal of Narni, Saint Augustine of Hippo and Saint Martin of Tours.
