Abstract
The introduction of a formulary for the care of creation between ad diversa Masses raises some questions about the possible inclusion of a feast of creation in the structure of the liturgical year. The risk that could arise is that of a “moralistic” reduction of the feast, as has happened in the past, or rather the transformation of the feast into a sounding board for an idea or a task, such as the protection of creation. The feast, in reality, is liberation from all tasks in order to access, through symbolism and ritual, an experience of freely given freedom. Creation is, rather, the subject of the celebration, which is also convened for remembrance and praise.
